To run BlackBerry® Desktop Software v3.5, you’ll need the following:
- An Internet/email-enabled computer with an Intel® 486 or higher processor
- Operating system: Microsoft ® Windows ® 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 or higher
- One available serial port
- Microsoft Outlook ® 98, 2000, XP (Corporate or Workgroup Installation) or Lotus Notes ® 4.6, 5.0 (for enterprise email integration)
- Email account on a Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5, 2000 or IBM® Lotus® Domino® Server version 4.6, 5.0 (for enterprise email integration)

Note: BlackBerry Desktop Software v3.5 works with RIM 850™, RIM 857™, RIM 950™, RIM 957™, BlackBerry 5810™, BlackBerry 6710™ and BlackBerry 6750™ handhelds. Check with your service provider for the software version you should use with your handheld. For RIM 850 and RIM 950 handheld users: handhelds with 2MB of memory may experience performance/memory issues when installing BlackBerry Desktop Software v3.5. It is recommended that you first check your available memory before installing this software. To check the available memory on your handheld go to "Options > Status" or contact your service provider for further information.
