Let’s get started. Once you’ve opened the box, you’re ready to do the tasks we describe in BlackBerry® 101, in the order shown. Complete these set-up tasks in order before moving on.

INSERTING THE BATTERY

 

Unpack your new BlackBerry device, learn how to insert the battery and set the time and date. Remember to always use batteries recommended by Research In Motion in your device. 

 

CONNECTING TO THE WIRELESS NETWORK

 

Once you’ve inserted and charged the battery, you’re ready to connect to the wireless network. To do this, your wireless service must be active and you must be in a wireless network coverage area.
